Ingredients

  • Rice - 2 cups
  • Urad dal - ½ cup
  • Fenugreek seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation

  • Wash and Soak urad dal & fenugreek, Rice over night separately.
  • Grind, mix well, add salt and allow it for fermentation (8 hours aprx).
  • In a Paniyaram pan make paniyaram.

Note

  • When paniyaram is prepared in Iron casting or stone pan tastes better.
  • Better should be idli batter consistency.

Tip

  • Sliced onion, green chilli, curry leaves with seasoning can be mixed before making paniyaram.
