Kadhi puri pakora | Instant poori kadhi

Cuisine Style: North india | Cooking Time: 8 to 10 minutes | To Serve: 4 | Type : Curry | Take with : Idli, dosa, rice or chapathi
Ingredients for batter
- Gram flour[Kadalai maavu, besan]– 1/4 cup
- Curd– 1 cup
- Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
- Garam masala - 1/ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Ingredients for seasoning
- Puri- 2
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Ginger– 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 1 tbsp
- Green chilli – 1 or 2
- Tomato - 2 [finely hopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Hing– 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- In a bowl add gram flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, curd and water mix well without lumps.
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds & let it splutter.
- Then add hing, curry leaves, onion, green chilli & garlic sauté till soft.
- Add chopped tomato saute till soft.
- Add gram flour curd mixture, mix well & let it boil for 5 min or boil till raw smell out. [Add water if required]
- Once its ready, add coriander leaves, cut off heat.
- Take 2 puri,fold put it in kadhi gravy, then Serve hot
Deep fry puri
Fry both sides
Now its ready, remove it from oil
Drain on absorbent paper
Put puris in kadhi serve hot
