Ingredients
- Milk powder - 1 cup
- Maida - 1/4 cup
- Ghee 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Saffron a pinch Sugar - 1 cup
- Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- Water - 1 cup
- Oil for deep frying
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add maida, milk powder, salt,bakign soda or baking powder, ghee, mix well
- Add water or milk, make soft dough, Rest for 5 min
- Divide the dough into equal size balls
- Heat oil in a pan, drop the balls, deep fry until golden brown on low-medium flame
- Heat sugar, water, boil for 5 min
- add cardamom powder mix well
- Add fried balls in sugar syrup, leave it for 1 to 2 hours
- Store in an airtight container, use within 1 week. After 2 days refrigeration is required
