Double beans sundal-navratri special recipe

Ingredients
- Double beans – 1 cup
- Green peas – ½ cup
- Coconut – ½ cup [grated]
- Dry red chilli - 1 Green chilli – 1 or 2
- Onion – 1 [chopped,For Navrathri Dont Add]
- Garlic – 2 cloves [mashed,For Navrathri Dont Add garlic, add ginger, asafetida or cumin seeds]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Dry mango powder – ½ tsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 1 ½ tbsp
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Boil double beas & green peas separately.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Then add urad dal sauté gently.
- Add green chilli, dry red chilli, curry leaves & asafetida sauté.
- Add onion & garlic, turmeric powder sauté well.
- Then add boiled double beans & salt sauté well
- Add red chilli powder & dry mango powder mix well.
- Add salt, coconut, & chopped coriander leaves mix well & cut off heat then serve hot with rice.
