Ingredients
- Bhindi [okra] - 200 gram
- Garlic- 4
Ginger - 1 inch piece - Onion - 1
- Tomato -3 to 4
- Cinnamon -1
- Cloves -2
- Cumin -1 tbsp
- Bayl leaf - 1
- Green chilli -1
- Hing -1 tsp
- Turmeric -1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder, garam masala -1 tbsp
- Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
- Kasoori methi - 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
- Curd - 1 cup
- Gram flour- 1 tbsp
- Oil -2 tbsp
- Ghee/butter- 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
Preparation Method
- Wash and slice bhindi into 2 parts
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, add bhindi, saute until crisp
- Coarsely Grind ginger, garlic, onion.
- Grind tomatoes into fine puree
- Heat pan add ghee, oil, add cinnamon,Cloves, bay leaf, cumin, hing
- Add onion puree saute till raw smell out
- Add green chilli, tomato puree, masala powder cook for 5 min
- Add curd gram flour mixture cook for 3 min
- Add kasoori methi, coriander leaves, cut off heat
