Wheat papdi-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Wheat flour–1 cup
- Rava[semolina] –2 tbsp
- Ajwain[Omam, carom seeds] – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder– ½ tbsp
- Asafeotida–1/4 tsp
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Oil for deep frying
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add wheat flour, salt, oil, ghee, rava ajwain, asafoetida & red chilli powder mix well.
- Add water knead it make semi soft dough
- Then cover it & leave it for 15 min.
- Sprinkle flour & roll out into thin chapatti then cut into small circles
- Heat oil in a pan then put raw padi deep fry till crisp & golden brown.
- When it is ready remove it from oil & drain on an absorbent paper & let it cool.
- Store it in an airtight container and use within 5 days.
How to make Wheat Papadi for chaats-Stepwise pictures
In a bowl add wheat flour, salt
Add rava-semolina
Add carom seeds, asafoetida, red chilli powder
add ghee mix well
Add oil mix well
Mix well with salt and other ingredients
Add water, mix well
Knead it make semi-soft dough
Dough is ready, cover it and leave it for 20 min
Sprinkle flour then roll out intl thin chapathi
Now its ready
Cut into circles
Using fork, make holes in the center
Perfect circles ready
Remove extras
Raw wheat papdi ready
Heat enough oil in a pan, drop raw papdi
Flip over fry both sides
Deep fry till crisp and golden brown
almost ready
Remove it from oil, drain on absorbent paper
