Ingredients

  • Bittergourd - 1/4 kg
  • Rice flour - 3 tbsp
  • Gram flour - 1 cup
  • Lemon juice -1 whole lemon
  • salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder -1 tbsp
  • Turmeric -1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tsp
  • Dry mango powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Water - 3 tbsp

Preparation Method

  • Wash and cut bittergourd into thin slices
  • add salt, lemon juice, red chilli powder mix well, rest for 30 min
  • 30 min later, squeeze, extract bitter water
  • add above all ingredients mix well
  • Heat oil in a pan , drop it in hot oil, deep fry till golden brown & crisp on hot oil
  • When it is ready remove it from oil & drain on an absorbent paper & let it cool.
  • Store it in an airtight container and use within 30 days.
