One pot chickpea sprouts biryani-How to make-Step by step photos & video

Ingredients
- Basmati rice – 2 cups
- Chickpea sprouts - 1/2 cup
- Tomato -2 [chopped]
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Fennel seeds – 1 tbsp
- Green cardamom - 3
- Cinnamon stick- 1
- Cloves - 4
- Bay leaves - 1
- marathi moggu -1
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Garam masala powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water –3 cups
For grinding[Ingredients]
- Green chilli -1
- Ginger - 1 inch piece
- Garlic - 5 cloves
- Mint leaves - 2 springs
- Coriander leaves - 2 springs
- Put all these ingredients in a mixer jar, coarsely grind
Preparation Method
- Wash & soak basmati rice for ½ an hour.
- Heat oil & ghee in a pressure cooker, Add green cardamom, fennel seeds, cinnamon stick, marathi moggu, cloves, bay leaves, sauté.
- Then add onion sauté till light brown
- Add ground paste saute.
- Add tomato sauté, garam masala, red chilli & turmeric powder saute till soft.
- Then chickpea sprouts, mix well
- Cover lid, cook for 1 whistles
- Then Add basmati rice & salt mix well.
- Then add coconut milk, mix well, cover it & cook for 3 whistles in pressure cooker
- Sprinkle mint leaves & serve hot with salna kurma and raitha.

Chana biryani
Wash and soak rice for 30 min
Take 1/2 cup chana sprouts
Heat pressure cooker add 2 tbsp oil
Add 1 tbsp ghee
Add spices
Add onion, saute till light brown
In a mixie jar, ad gigner, garlic
Add green chilli, coriander, mint leaves, coarsely grind without water
Add ground mixture
Saute for 1 min
Add turmeric powder
Add garam masala
Saute for a min
Add salt
Add water
Cover lid, cook for 1 whistle
Remove steam, mix well
Add soaked rice
Add coconut milk
Add salt
Cover lid, cook for 3 whsitles on medium flame
Remove steam, leave it for 5min
Perfect non-sticky black chana sprouts biryani ready
Serve hot with kathirikai curry or salna
