Cabbage ellu kootu | Muttakos ellu [sesame] thengai kootu

Ingredients
- Cabbage – 1 cup [grated or chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
- Urad dal – ½ tbsp
- Bengal gram – ½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Water as needed
For roasting & grinding
- Black sesame seeds – 1 tbsp
- Dry red chilli – 1 [chopped]
- Coconut – 2 tbsp [grated]
- Heat oil in a pan roast ingredients & coarsely grind without water.
Method
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter then add Bengal gram & urad dal.
- Add curry leaves, cabbage & salt sauté then add water cook till soft.
- Add freshly ground powder mix well, sauté & leave it for a min then cut off heat & serve hot with rice
