How to make Instant besan capsicum kuram for idli, dosa or poori video
Ingredients
- Gram flour - 3 tbsp
- Capsicum - 1
- Onion -1 [sliced]
- Green chilli – 1 [slit]
- Tomato -1 [chopped]
- Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped & mashed]
- Garlic – 2 cloves [mashed]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
- Coraidner leaves - 2 springs
- Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
- Chana dal - 1 tsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- In a bowl add besan & 1/2 cup water mix well without lumps
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard, chana dal, urad dal, cumin seeds fry
- Add onion, ginger & garlic sauté till soft.
- Then add green chilli & curry leaves.
- Add Tomato saute till soft
- Add capsicum, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder & salt saute for a min
- Add water & besan mixture Boil for 5 to 8 min on medium flame
- Once its rady, add coriander leaves & cut off heat. Serve hot with idli, dosa or poori

Heat 2 tbsp oil, add mustard, chana dal, urad dal, cumin
add asafoetida
Onion, garlic, ginger, green chilli saute till soft
add capsicum
Add turmeric , red chilli powder
Add coriander powder
add water, cook for 2 min
Add 3 tbsp besan
Add water mix well
Besan mixture ready
Add into capsicum curry
Boil on low flame
Mix well
Add 500 ml water
Cook for 5 to 8 min
Now its ready
Add coriander leaves, cut off heat
Serve hot with idli
