Ingredients
- Maida - 1&1/4 cup
- Melted butter - 1/4 cup
- Baking soda -1/4 tsp
- Curd - 2 tbsp
- Sugar -1 tsp
- Water as required
- Oil for deep frying
Ingredients for Sugar syrup:-
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Safron -1 tsp
- Pista - 1 tbsp
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add melted butter/dalda/ oil, curd, sugar, beat well for 2 min
- Then add maida/wheat flour, baking soda mix well
- Add water, make soft dough, cover lid, leave it for 15 min
- For sugar syrup:- Add water, sugar, boil until 1 string consistency
- Add cardamom, saffron, cut off heat.
- You can add 1 tsp lemon juice to avoid crystalization, cover lid, keep it aside
- 15 min later divide the dough into equal size balls, then make floral shape
- Heat oil in a pan, drop floral badusha, deep fry until crisp and golden brown on low-medium flame
- Once its ready, remove it from oil, drain on absorbent paper
- Drop it in sugar syrup, leave it for 5 min then let it cool
- Store in an airtight container, use with in 1 week
