Aloo chaat | potato chat-How to make-Step by step photos

Aloo chat is instant & street food chaat recipe with mixed sour and sweet chutney, fruits, vegetables with little bit masala powder. You can add any crispy toppings like sev, boondi, mixture, roasted peanuts, cashews, almonds, walnuts or kurkure bhindi. For vegetables you can add grated carrot, beetroot, baby radish, tomato, raw mango, red cababge, capsicum, or cucumber. For fruits you can add pomegranate, mango, pineapple or apple.
Ingredients
- Potato - 3
- Onion – 2 tbsp
- Tomato- 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Roasted cumin powder – 1 tbsp
- Chaat masala - 1 tbsp
- Plain sev - 2 tbsp
- Green chutney – 2 tbsp
- Sweet tamarind chutney - 2 tbsp
- Groundnut - 2 tbsp[roasted]
- Pomegranate - 3tbsp
Preparation
- Wash, peel off potato then cut into cubes
- Boil potato cubes with salt, turmeric & red chilli powder
- Heat iron dosa tawa, place boiled potato cubes roast till crisp.
- In a serving plate, place potato, chat masala, roasted cumin powder, green chutney, tamarind chutney, onion, sev, pomegranate & corainder
- Then serve immediately

Green chutney[Coriander, mint, green chilli, ginger, lemon juice, salt & sugar]
Tamarind chutney[Tamarind, dates/jaggery, asafoetida, red chilli powder & salt]
Peel off, wash & cube potato
Boil potato cubes
Add turmeric , red chilli powder
Add salt, cook till soft
Boiled potato ready
Heat iron dosa tawa, add potato cubes, saute till crisp
Place it in a serving plate
add chaat masala / roasted cumin powder
Add green chutney
Add tamarind chutney
Add onion, roasted peanut
Add pomegranate
Add sev and coriander leaves
Aloo chaat ready, serve immediately
