White sesame seeds rice By

Ingredients

  • Rice – 1 cup [boiled]
  • White Sesame seeds [til, vellai ellu] – 1 ½ tbsp
  • Coconut – 1 tbsp [grated]
  • Dry red chilli – 2 or 3
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Salt to taste
  • Gingelly oil – 1 tbsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

Preparation Method

  • Dry roast white sesame seeds, dry red chilli & coconut one by one then let it cool.
  • Put roasted ingredients in a mixer jar & coarsely grind.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, and freshly ground sesame mixture.
  • Then add boiled rice & salt mix well.
  • Pour 1 tbsp of ginelly oil mix well then cut off heat. Serve hot with chips or pickle.
