Samai coconut rice | Little millet coconut rice-How to make video

Ingredients
- Samai rice[Littlet millet] -1 cup
- Coconut -1/2 cup [Grated]
- Dry red chilli - 1
- Green chilli - 2 [optional]
- Ginger- 1 inch[finely chopped]
- Curry leaves- 2 springs
- Ground Nuts[Peanuts, Nilakkadalai]-¼ cup[Roasted, peel off the skin]
- Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp
- Urad dal - 1 tsp
- Bengal Gram-1 tbsp
- Black pepper - 7
- Asafetida - 1/4 tsp [optional]
- Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water - 3 cups for open pan, 1 1/2 cup for pressure cooker
Preparation Method
- Boil littlet millet, spread over the plate to cool.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed & let it splutter.
- Then add Bengal gram, urad dal, dry red chilli, green chilli, roasted ground nuts,ginger, asafetida and curry leaves one by one.
- Add grated coconut and salt mix well
- Add boiled little and mix well.
- Sprinkle coconut oil mix well & cut off heat, serve hot.
