Popcorn balls with jaggery-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Corn kernels – 1/4 cup
- Jaggery -1 cup
- Water- 1/4 cup
- Oil – 2 tbsp / butter - 1 tbsp
Method
- Heat large pan, add 2 tbsp oil / butter.
- Add corn kernels, cover lid, leave it for 1 min
- Then gently shake the pan till the kernels pops.
- Once its popped, remove the pan from heat.
- Heat pan, add jaggery and water, let it dissolve then strain to remove impurities.
- Pour the melted jaggery in the same pan, let it boil till hard ball consistency.
- Then cut off heat, add popcorn mix well.
- Place the jaggery popcorn on large tray, let it cool for 1 min
- Grease your palm with ghee then make balls in warm stage.
- Then let it cool & keep in an airtight container & use within 7 days

Heat pressure cooker with 1 tbsp oil
Add butter
Add corn kernels, cover lid, shake occasionally
Popcorn ready
Transfer to a plate, let it cool
In a pan, add jaggery
Add water
Let it boil till hard ball consistency
Check consistency
Hard ball consistency
Now its ready
Pour jaggery syrup
Mix well with jaggery
Leave it for 2 min
Take lemon size portion, make balls
Fold tightly
Shape balls
