Ingredients
- Sambar onion [shallots] – 6
- Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
- Toor dal – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Dry red chilli -2
- Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation Method
- Heat pan with oil roast Bengal gram, urad dal. Next roast toor dal.
- Then roast coriander seeds and cumin seeds.
- Next roast dry red chilli, and then roast coconut and onion.
- Coarsely grind [don’t add water]. Sprinkle gingelly oil then serve with rice.
