Ingredients

  • Muskmelon[Mulampalam ,Kirni pazham] - 1
  • Curd / Yogurt- 1 cup[fresh]
  • Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
  • Sugar/ brown sugar/ Honey or Jaggery- 3 tbsp
  • Ice cubes - 1/4 cup [optional]
  • Water - 1 small glass[chilled]

Preparation

  • Cut and Remove the Muskmelon skin.
  • Scoop out the flesh.
  • In a mixie jar or blender, add Muskmelon, curd, cardamom powder, ice cubes, sugar & water finely grind.
  • Pour fresh Muskmelon lassi in a serving glass, add more ice cubes & serve immediately

Tips

  • You can add milk, nuts or saffron.
  • You can add coconut milk or almond milk.
  • You can make kulfi using condensed milk
