Ingredients

  • Muskmelon[Mulampalam ,Kirni pazham] - 1
  • Sugar or brown sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Ice cubes - 1/4 cup [optional]
  • Water - 1 small glass

Preparation

  • Cut and Remove the Muskmelon skin.
  • Scoop out the flesh.
  • In a mixie jar or blender, add Muskmelon, sugar & water finely grind.
  • Pour fresh Muskmelon juice in a serving glass, add ice cubes & serve immediately

Tips & Variations

  • You can dry out Muskmelon seeds & use in kheer/payasam/halwa.
  • Muskmelon is best for ulcer. So you can add coconut milk.
  • You can prepare with boiled & chilled milk.
  • You can add jaggery or honey instead of sugar.
  • You can make Muskmelon lassi, granita, smoothie, kulfi, popsicles, or ice cream
