Ingredients
- Moong dal[Pasi paruppu] – 1 cup
- Onion - 3 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Green chilli - 1 [finely chopped]
- Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Curry leaves – 3 springs [finely chopped]
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs
- Mint leaves – 2 springs
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Preparation
- Wash & Soak moong dal for 2 to 3 hours. Then drain water.
- In a mixie jar add moong dal, salt, green chilli finely grind 2 tbsp water.
- Transfer moong dal batter to a bowl, add ginger, coriander, curry leaves, mint leaves, coriander leaves, & salt mix well.
- Heat oil in pan, Take lemon size batter, make ball shape or oval shape using spoon then deep fry till golden brown & crisp in medium hot oil.
- Serve hot with chutney, sambar, or tomato sauce.

Add finely chopped ingredients
Moong dal mixture ready
Make balls, drop it in hot oil, deep fry till crisp and golden brown
Flip over fry both sides
Now its ready, remove it from oil
Moong dal mini vada ready, serve hot with green chutney
