Karamani sweet poli-Step by step photos & Video

Ingredients for stuffing
- Karamani - 1 cup
- Jaggery - 3/4 cup
- Ghee -3 tbsp
- Coconut - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
For dough
- Wheat flour – 2 cups
- Salt a pinch
- Oi l – 1 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- Soak karamani overnight
- Pressure cook for 5 whistles
- Add coconut, ghee, cardamom, cook til lthick
- In a bowl add wheat flour, salt & pour oil mix well.
- Then add water Knead it and make soft dough. Cover it & leave it for 15 min.
- Divide the dough into equal size balls. Then roll out into small thick chapatti or puri.
- Add lemon size karamani stuffing mixture & shape into a ball again.
- Sprinkle flour then roll out each ball in to 6 to 7 inch circle shape paratha.
- Heat iron dosa tawa then place stuffed paratha on it & add 1 tsp ghee on it.
- Turnover and cook another side & add 1 tsp of butter on it.
- Cook till both sides are golden brown & well cooked.
- Then cut off heat serve hot with ghee

Karamani innipu poli
Karamani 1 cup [soaked for 8 hours]
Add water
Pressure cook for 5 whistle
Mash well
Add jageery
Add coconut, ghee
Mash well
Add cardamom powder
Mash well
Poornam ready
Add 1 cup wheat flour
Add oil
Add water, mix well
Make soft dough
Reast 20 min
Divide the mixture into equal size balls
Add stuffing
Close it
Tightly seal
Rollout into slightly thick circle
Perfect
Cook with ghee
Heat iron tawa., palce it , add ghee
Cook till fluffy and golden brown
Perfect cowpea poli ready
