Green chana sundal | Green chickpeas stir fry | Hara Chana Sundal

Ingredients
- Green chana[Green chickpeas, Hara Chana]- 1 cup
- Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
- Green chilli – 1 [sliced]
- Dry red chilli -1
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Garlic - 2 coves [finely chopped, dont add garlic during navrathri festival]
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Wash and soak green chickpeas overnight. Then drain water.
- Boil green chana in cooker for 4 whistles.
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. Then add curry leaves, garlic, green chilli & dry red chilli saute.
- Add coconut & red chilli powder mix well. Then add boiled chickpeas and salt mix well.
- Then add coriander leaves & remaining coconut mix well. Cut off heat. Serve hot with rice or tea.
