Carrot chapathi | Carrot masala chapati recipe

Ingredients
- Wheat flour [Atta] – 1 cup
- Carrot – 1 [finely grated]
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
- Curd – 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
- Sugar a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Water as needed.
Method
- Heat oil in a pan add curry leaves, grated carrot, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder sauté for 2 min then cut off heat.
- Take a bowl, add wheat flour, salt, oil, carrot mixture, water then knead it & make soft dough. Then cover it & leave it for 15 min. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
- Sprinkle flour then roll out each ball in to 6 to 7 inch circle shape thin chapatti.
- Heat iron dosa tawa then place stuffed chapatti on it, pour 1 tbsp of oil & cook both side.
- Then cut off heat serve hot with any gravy, pickle, raitha or cucumber.
