Ingredients

  • Bread – 3 slices
  • Jaggery -3/4 cup
  • Water-4 tbsp
  • Ghee/ butter - 1 tbsp

Method

  • Cut bread into cubes
  • Heat large pan, add bread cubes, roast till crisp.
  • Heat pan, add jaggery and water, let it dissolve then strain to remove impurities.
  • Pour the melted jaggery in the same pan, let it boil till hard ball consistency.
  • Then cut off heat, add roasted bread cubes mix well.
  • Place the jaggery bread popcorn on large tray, let it cool.
  • Then store in an airtight container use with in 2 days.
