Ingredients

  • Mango [Mambazham] - 1
  • Sugar or brown sugar - 3 tbsp
  • Warm water - 3 tbsp
  • Saffron - a pinch
  • Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp

Preparation

  • Soak saffron in warm water for 5 min
  • Wash & pell off mango skin.
  • Cut into cubes & remove seed.
  • In a mixie jar or blender, add mango cubes, sugar & saffron water finely grind.
  • Add caramom powder mix well & serve with puri

Tips

  • You can add 3 tbsp milk or ghee.
  • You can add blanched almond & pistachios
  • You can make aamras without sugar
  • You can skip cardamom powder.
  • You can make mango puri using this aamras.
