Ingredients

  • White pumpkin – ½ cup [grated]
  • Curd / Yogurt – 1 cup [fresh]
  • Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped][optional]
  • Ginger – 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

Method

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan add mustard seeds, asafoetida, green chilli, ginger & curry leaves.
  • Add grated white pumpkin, turmeric powder & salt saute for 5 min then cut off heat.
  • Let it cool for 5 min
  • Add curd mix well.
  • Then Serve immediately with chapati or pulao, biryani
