Tomato potato curry By

Ingredients

  • Potato – 2
  • Tomato -1 [chopped]
  • Green chilli – 1 [chopped]
  • Onion – 1 [sliced]
  • Ginger & Garlic paste – 1 tbsp each
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
  • Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
  • Mustard seed – ½ tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
  • Bengal gram – ½ tbsp
  • Urad dal – ½ tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water as needed

Method

  • Wash and Boil (as whole and 3 whistle) potato in cooker. Then peel off and cut into 1 inch cube.
  • Heat pan with oil add mustard seeds, cumin seed, Bengal gram and urad dal.
  • Add onion sauté well then add ginger and garlic paste. Add green chilli, curry leaves and tomato sauté well.
  • Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and potato mix well. Then add water mix well.
  • Once gravy is boiled add salt mix well then cut off heat. Sprinkle coriander leaves serve hot with poori or chapatti
