Oyster mushroom pakora | Kalan pakoda-Simple indian snacks recipe

Ingredients
- Oyster mushroom [Kalan]– 1 cup [5]
- Gram flour [besan flour, kadalai maavu] – 4 tbsp
- Rice flour – 2 tbsp or corn flour
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Ginger garlic & green chilli paste – 1 tbsp
- Curd – 2 tbsp [fully whisked]
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric power – ¼ tsp
- Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
- Pepper powder - ¼ tsp
- Oil for deep frying
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation Method
- Wash & cut Oyster mushroom in to stripes or two.
- Add gram flour, rice flour, corn flour, Curd, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger garlic & green chilli paste, garam masala, pepper powder & water mix well without lumps. [cream or bajji consistency]
- Add Oyster mushroom into the batter mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan then deep fry Oyster mushroom till crisp on medium hot oil.
- Then drain on absorbent paper & serve hot with green mint chutney.
