Moong Dal Payasam [ Pasi Paruppu pal Payasam ], Moong dal Milk Kheer

Ingredients
- Roasted Vermicelli - 2 tbsp
- Moong dal - ½ cup
- Milk - 3 cups
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 6
- Raisins - 10
- Almonds [sliced] - 5
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
- Water - 2 cups
Preparation
- Dry roast moong dal.
- Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins and almonds keep it aside.
- In the same pan add roasted moong dal, water & cook till 3/4 th.
- Add milk let it boil.
- Add vermicelli cook till soft.
- Add sugar mix well.
- Add cardamom powder mix well.
- Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins and almonds slices, serve hot or cold
Tip
- For another variation use Jaggery
