Ingredients

  • Roasted Vermicelli - 2 tbsp
  • Moong dal  - ½ cup
  • Milk - 3 cups
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
  • Cashew nuts - 6
  • Raisins - 10
  • Almonds [sliced] - 5
  • Ghee - 3 tbsp
  • Water - 2 cups

Preparation

  • Dry roast moong dal.
  • Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins and almonds keep it aside.
  • In the same pan add roasted moong dal, water & cook till 3/4 th.
  • Add milk let it boil.
  • Add vermicelli cook till soft.
  • Add sugar mix well.
  • Add cardamom powder mix well.
  • Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins and almonds slices, serve hot or cold

Tip

  • For another variation use Jaggery
