  • Paneer [cottage cheese] –10 pieces[long cubes]
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Lemon - 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

For green chutney

  • Ginger- 1 inch piece
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Green chilli -1
  • Coriander leaves - 3 springs
  • Put all ingredients in a mixer jar grind with 1/4 glass of water

For batter

  • Corn flour – 1 cup
  • Curd - 1/4 cup
  • Garam masala powder - 1 tbsp
  • Green chutney-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation Method

  • In a mixer jar add ginger, garlic, green chilli & coriander leaves
  • In a bowl add marinate paneer, garam masala, lemon juice, ginger, garlic & green chilli paste & sprinkle salt mix well, cover it, leave it for 10 min.
  • In a bowl add corn flour, salt, green chutney, garam masala powder & water mix well without lumps.
  • Dip marinated paneer cubes into the batter then deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
  • Then drain on absorbent paper & serve hot with green mint chutney or tomato chilli sauce.
