Capsicum pakora | Capsicum bajji-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Capsicum[Red,green]- 2
- Besan [gram flour, kadalai maavu] – ¼ cup
- Rice flour – 2 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Asafetida[Hing]- ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil – ¼ ltr [for frying]
Preparation Method
- Slit chilli lengthwise then remove seeds. Then cut into stripes.
- In a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida, red chilli & turmeric powder mix well.
- Then add water mix well & make batter without lumps
- Heat oil in a pan, dip capsicum into the prepared batter, drop it in oil, deep fry till crisp & golden brown both sides on medium hot oil
- Once its ready remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper & serve hot with tea or coffee.

Add besan, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, hing, water mix well
Add 1 tbsp hot oil mix well
Cut capsicum into stripes
Dip in fresh bajji batter
Drop it in hot oil
Deep fry till crisp & golden brown
Crispy capsicum fritters ready, remove it from oil
Cripy capsicum pakora
Red & green capsicum fritters
Serve hot with sauce or green chutney
