Potato pakoras | Aloo thool pakoda-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Potato –2
- Gram flour [Besan, kadalai maavu] - 1/4cup
- Rice flour - 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Curry leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Garlic –3 cloves[mashed]
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida[Hing] – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Water as needed
Preparation Method
- Wash, peel off & grate potato [use large hole]
- In a bowl add water & grated potato soak it for 10 min.
- Wash for 2 to 3 times
- Spread grated potato over the cotton cloth, dryout for 10 min.
- In a bowl add all ingredients, potato, salt mix well wihtout lumps.
- Heat enough oil in a pan sprinkle onion pakoda mixture
- Deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
- Once its ready remove from oil drain on absorbent paper then serve hot
How to make Crispy potato pakoda- Stepwise pictures
Wash, peel off & grate potato, soak it, squeeze water, then let it dry
Add curry leaves
Add salt
Add red chilli powder
Add asafoetida
Add turmeric powder
Add garlic
Add coriander leaves, garam masala
Mix well
Add gram flour, rice flour
Drop aloo mixture in hot oil, deep fry till crisp and golden brown
Flip over and fry
Crispy potato pakora is ready, remove it from oil
