Wheat garlic knots-No oven-How to make-Step by step photos & Video

How to make Wheat garlic knots video
Dry Ingredients
- All purpose flour [Finger millet flour]-2 cup
- Egg - 1
- Butter - 1 cube
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Salt- 1/4 tsp
- Active dry Yeast - 1.5 tsp
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Butter - 1 inch cube
- Luke warm water - as needed or [Apr 1 cup]
For garlic butter mixture
- Melted Butter - 1/4 cup
- Garlic - 5 cloves [Finely chopped]
- Salt- 1/4 tsp
- Red chilli flakes - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves - 3 tbsp
- Pasta seasoning - 1 tbsp
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl, keep it aside
Preparation
- Take 5 littre pressure cooker.
- Remove gasket & whistle from the pressure cooker lid.
- Then place grid.
- Preheat pressure cooker for 5 to 10 min on medium flame.
- In a bowl add active dry yeast, sugar & Lukewarm water mix well.
- Let it rise for 10 min. [You can see frothy like consistency-This is perfect]
- In another bowl add Wheat flour, salt, egg, active dry yeast, milk & enough water, mix well.
- Knead it for 5 min
- Then add butter cube, knead it for 5 min again
- Then pour 1 tbsp oil over the dough, cover with wet cotton cloth, let it rise for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, you can see the dough is double in size
- Sprinkle flour knead it for 1 min
- Then divide the dough into equal size balls
- Roll out each ball into thick stripes
- Then make knot [Close two edges then make knots]
- Place it in a tray, cover with cotton cloth rise it again for 30 min to 1 hour again
- Brush each knots with butter garlic mixture.
- Then place a tray in pressure cooker, Close lid & bake it for 30 to 35 on medium flame.
- Once its ready carefully remove baking tray then un-mould & let it cool.
- Slice and serve with anuy sauce or coffee, tea
Note
- Before baking in pressure cooker remove gasket & whistle.
- Instead of egg you can use fresh curd.
- For cinnamon bread add cinnamon powder, brown sugar & butter
- You can replace yeast with baking powder & baking soda
- For spinach bread:- Use spinach, green chilli puree
- For red bread:- Use beetroot puree
- For garlic bread:-Use chopped garlic, olive oil, coriander
- For mint bread:-Add mint, garlic & coriander paste
- For carrot bread:-Use carrot puree
- For pumpkin bread:-Use pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice powder[Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves & ginger]
- For tomato bread:-Use sauted tomato, garlic & dry red chilli puree

Perfect spongy wheat garlic knots [No maida]
Add active dry yeast
Add sugar
Add luke warm water
Let it rise for 5 to 8 min
After 8 min, frothy yeast ready
In a bowl add 2 cups wheat flour [Atta]
Add salt
Add egg [For perfect softness]
Add activated yeast
Mix well
Add warm milk
Knead it for 5 min
Add butter, knead it for 5 min again
Dough should be soft & spongy
Dough ready
Cover it, leave it for 2 hours
2 hours later, dough ready
Punch it, knead it 1 min
Sprinkle flour
Divide the dough into equal size balls
Make balls again
Roll out into thick stripes
Make knot again
Wheat flour knots ready
Place it in a plate
Cover it, let it rise for 1 hour
For butter mixture, add melted butter
Add finely chopped garlic
Add coriander leaves
Add pasta seasoning, mix well
1 hour later, garlic knots dougble in size
Brush with garlic butter mxture
Evenly spread
Place it in a pre-heated pressure cooker
COver lid, cook for 35 min on medium flame
35 min later, perfect garlic knots ready
Serve hot with any sauce or take with tea or coffee
