How to make Wheat flour butter bun video
Dry Ingredients
- Wheat flour- 1.5 cup
- Warm Milk - 1/2 cup
- Salt- 1/4 tsp
- Active dry Yeast - 1.5 tsp
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
- Oil - 3 tbsp
- Butter - 1 inch cube
- Warm Water - as needed or [Apr 200 ml]
- Jam - 3 tbsp
- Roasted coconut - 1/4 cup
Butter cream frostings
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
- Milk - 2 tbsp
- In a bowl add softened butter, beat till fluffy
- Then add powdered sugar, milk, mix till fluffy & smooth.
Preparation
- In a bowl add 1.5 tsp active dry yeast, sugar & warm water mix well.
- Then leave it for 5 min. [You can see frothy like consistency-This is perfect]
- Heat milk, add butter, melt then leave it for 5 min
- In another bowl add flour, salt mix well.
- Add activated yeast mixture & milk butter mixture mix well then knead it for 8 to 10 min to make soft dough [Add water if required]
- Then pour 1 tbsp oil over the dough, cover with wet cotton cloth, let it rise for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, you can see the dough is double in size
- Sprinkle flour knead it for 5 min
- Divide the dough into equal size balls & oval shapes
- Heat oil in a pan, drop balls, deep fry till golden brown both sides
- Once its ready, drain on absorbent paper
- Slice and spread, jam/butter cream, roasted coconut then serve.
Note
- Before baking in pressure cooker remove gasket & whistle.

Add active dry yeast
Add sugar
Add warm water,mix well, let ti rise for 5 to 8 min
Yeast is ready
Heat milk, add butter melt
In a bowl add wheat flour, maida & activated yeast
Add milk butter mixture, knead it make soft dough
Add oil around the dough
Cover it , let it rise for 2 hours
After 2 hours
Punch the dough
Knead it
Cut into equal size portions
make balls
Make oval shape
Balls are ready
Cover it, let ti rise for 30 min to 1 hour again
In a bowl add softened butter
Powdered sugar
Add milk, beat till frothy
Butter cream mixture ready
1 hour later, balls are double in size
Heat oil, drop it
Deep fry till crisp & golden brown both sides
Now its ready, remove it from oil
Fry 2nd set
Now its ready, remove it from oil
Let it cool in room temperature
Slice
Add buttercream
Delicious butter bun ready
Add strawberry jam
add buttercream & roasted coconut
