Ingredients

  • Sago [Sabudana, javvarisi] -1 cup
  • Rose syrup –1/4 cup
  • Milk – 2 cups[500 ml]
  • Sugar – 5 tbsp
  • Rose petals - 1/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp

Preparation

  • Wash & soak sago for 5 hours or overnight
  • Heat ghee in a pan then roast cashew nuts, & raisins, keep it aside.
  • Heat milk in a pan & let it boil, add sago, cook till soft.[Apr 15 min]
  • Add rose syrup, & sugar mix well
  • Add cardamom powder mix well then cut off heat.
  • Drizzle rose syrup, rose petals & sliced almonds, pistachios, & serve hot or chilled.

Note

  • You can add Jaggery instead of sugar
