How to make Instant rose phirni video
Ingredients
- Basmati rice – 2 to 3 tbsp
- Rose syrup –1/4 cup
- Milk – 2 cups[500 ml]
- Sugar – 5 tbsp
- Rose petals - 1/4 cup
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
Preparation
- Wash & Soak basmati for ½ an hours. Then drain water completely.
- In a mixer jar add soaked basmati rice coarsely grind without water.
- Heat milk in a pan & let it boil, add ground rice mixture cook till soft.[Apr 15 min]
- Add rose syrup, & sugar mix well
- Add cardamom powder mix well then cut off heat.
- Drizzle rose syrup, rose petals & sliced almonds, pistachios, & serve hot or chilled.
Note
- You can add Jaggery instead of sugar
How to make Rose phirni[Gulab firni]-Step by step photos
Take 3 tbsp fragrant basmathi rice
Wash and soak it for 30 min
Drain water completely
Put it in a mixer jar, coarsely grind
Coarsely ground basmathi rice ready, keep it aside
Heat pan, add milk [300-500 ml]
Boil
Add ground basmathi rice
Cook for 20 min/till soft
Add sugar
Add rose syrup
Cook for 5 min
Add cardamom powder
Cut off heat
Drizzle rose syrup & rose petals, serve hot or cold
