Mochakottai masala sundal | Field beans stir fry-How to make-Stepwise pictures & Video

Peel off and boil field beans. Season with mustard seed, curry leaves. Add grated coconut for extra taste and aroma. As this beans is fresh it has all nutrition values and tastes too.
Ingredients
- Mochakottai [Field beans, avarekalu] - 1 cup [fresh]
- Onion – 1 [sliced, For Navrathri-Dont add]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Tumeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Asafetida[Hing]- 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
For grinding[ingredients]
- Coconut – ¼ cup
- Green chilli – 1 [sliced]
- Dry red chilli - 1
- Garlic - 2 cloves[mashed, For Navrathri-Dont add]]
- Ginger - 1 inch piece
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Cinnamon stick[1/4 stick]
- Cloves - 2
- Fennel & cumin seeds - 1/2 tbsp[each]
- Put all ingredients in a mixie jar, coarsely grind
Preparation
- Peel off the field beans take seeds.
- Boil water in a pan, add field beans, turmeric & red chilli powder cook till soft.
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds let it splutter then add curry leaves & asafetida.
- Add onion sauté till soft.
- Add freshly ground coconut mixture saute for 2 min
- Add boiled field beans and salt mix well.
- Finally add coconut mix well then cut off heat
- Then serve hot with rice

Field beans stir fry ingredients
Boil field beans with turmeric & red chilli powder
Add garlic, ginger, green chilli, dry red chilli, cinnamon, cumin, cloves, fennel coarsely grind
Add coconut, coriander leaves coarsely grind, keep it aside
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard & curry leaves
Add onion, asafetida saute
Add freshly ground coconut mixture
Add boiled field beans saute for 3 min
Add coconut saute for 1 min then cut off heat
Field beans sundal is ready, cut off heat
