Lauki jaggery halwa-Step bystep photos & Video

Ingredients
- Bottle gourd [Lauki, sorakkai]- 1
- Jaggery - 1 cup
- Water - 1 cup
- Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
- Almond, pistachio - 2 tbsp
- Ghee - 6 tbsp
Preparation
- Peel off the bottlegourd skin, grate
- boil jaggery with equal amount of water for 2 min
- Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a pan add lauki saute for 3 to 5 min or until raw smell out
- Add jaggery syrup or sugar cook until thick
- You can add khoya or milk powder or corn flour in this stage for thickness and extra flavor
- Add cardamom, remaining ghee, almond, pista,
- Garnish with dry fruits server cold / warm / hot
Note
- You can mix water with milk in equal proportion and prepare
Tip
- For Instant lauki halwa use condensed milk and khoya, Khoa.
