Ingredients
- Jackfruit[palapazham, Kathal]- 1 cup or 6 to 7
- Semolina [suji, Sooji , rava, ravai] - 1 cup
- Ghee – ¼ cup
- Sugar – 1/2 cup
- Water - 2 cups
- Cardamom powder- ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 5
- Badam [Almonds] - 4
Preparation
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan, roast rava & keep it aside.
- Remove seeds from jackfruit, chop then put it in a blender then make smooth paste.
- Heat ghee in a pan roast cashew nuts & almonds, chop & keep it aside.
- In a same pan, water & let it boil. Then add 1/2 cup of sugar mix well.
- Now add roasted rava slowly and gently to the pan mix well & stir for a min.
- Add jackfruit paste mix well.
- Sprinkle ghee, cardamom powder, cashews & almonds mix well in medium flame.
- Then cut off heat. Cover lid & leave it for 3 min. Then serve hot or chilled.
