Instant tiny cakes in appam pan-How to make-Step by step photos

Tiny, spongy appam cake with leftover cake batter
Dry Ingredients
- All purpose flour / Wheat flour - 1.5 cup
- Cocoa powder- 1/4 cup
- Salt- 1/4 tsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1 cup
Wet Ingredients
- Milk- 250 ml
- Egg- 1
- Melted butter- 1/2 cup
- Coconut oil- 1/4 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
- Orange juice - 1/2 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Preparation
- In a bowl All purpose flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda mix well.
- In a bowl add melted butter, milk, coconut oil, egg, vanilla essence, orange juice, turmeric powder & sugar mix well.
- Add wet ingredient to the dry mixture mix well
- Add milk to adjust the consistency.
- Divide the mixture into two bowls
- Add cocoa powder in another bowl mix well.
- Heat appam pan/ Paniyaram pan, pour 1 tbsp oil/ batter, Pour orange cake batter & chocolate cake batter
- Cover lid & cook for 3 min each side
- One side ready, flip over cook another side for 3 min
- Once its ready carefully remove it from appam pan, drizzle honey/ chocolate sauce then serve
Note
- Instant chocolate sauce-Chocolate chips, milk, butte
- For frosting:-1.5 cup Powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 2 tbsp milk, t tsp vanila
How to make Instant tiny cakes in appam without oven- Step by step photos
In a bowl add all purpose flour & salt
Add baking powder
Add baking soda
Heat milk and butter
Melt, then cut off heat
Add sugar
Add egg
Add vanilla essence
Take some fresh orange juice & add turmeric powder
Strain & add without orange seeds
Mix well
Pour wet ingredients into dry mixture
Mix well without lumps[Dont overmix]
Batter ready
Add coconut oil,mix well. Then Divide the batter into two
Add cocoa powder , mix well
Two batter ready
Heat appam/paniyaram tawa, add 1 tbsp oil/butter, pour batter
Cover lid, cook both sides for 3 min
Flip over cook other side
Now its ready, remove it from pan
