Ingredients
- Green peas[fresh] – ½ cup
- Semolina [suji, Sooji , rava, ravai] - 1 cup
- Ghee – ¼ cup
- Sugar – ¼ cup
- Water - 2 cups
- Cardamom powder- ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 5
- Badam [Almonds] - 4
Preparation
- Dry roast rava & keep it aside. Peel off the green peas, then put it in a blender with 1 tbsp sugar then make smooth paste or puree.
- Heat ghee in a pan & roast cashew nuts & almonds, chop & keep it aside.
- In a same pan, water & let it boil. Add green peas paste mix well.
- Then add ¼ cup of sugar mix well.
- Now add roasted rava slowly and gently to the pan mix well & stir for a min.
- Sprinkle ghee, cardamom powder, cashews & almonds mix well in medium flame.
- Then cut off heat. Cover lid & leave it for 3 min. Then serve hot or chilled.
Preparing Ghee From Cooking Butter-Method
- Heat pan with butter then stir well continuously in low flame till bubbles disappear.
