How to make Eggless chocolate cake video
Ingredients
- Wheat flour- 1 & 1/4 cup
- Cocoa powder - 3 tbsp
- Fresh Curd- 1/2 cup
- Coconut oil / sunflower oil / groundnut oil- 1/2 cup
- Salt- 1/4 tsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- Jaggery - 3/4 cup
- Milk - 1/4 to 1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Preparation
- Take 5 littre pressure cooker.
- Remove gasket & whistle from the pressure cooker lid.
- Then place grid.
- Preheat pressure cooker for 5 to 10 min on medium flame.
- Grease baking tin with butter and sprinkle flour.
- In a bowl seive maida, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder, baking soda mix well.
- In a bowl add fresh curd, sugar, oil, vanilla essence mix well till cream consistency
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients mixture, gently mix
- Add milk to adjust the consistency.
- Pour cake batter into baking tin.
- Place it in pre-heated pressure cooker.
- Close lid & cook for 35 to 40 min on low flame.
- Once its ready carefully remove baking tin then un-mould & let it cool.
- Sprinkle cocoa powder & powdered sugar, slice and serve with tea / coffee/ milk
Note
- Before baking in pressure cooker remove gasket & whistle.

Pre-heat for 10 min on low flame
Add curd
Add jaggery
Add oil
Mix well
Add flour, seive without lumps
Add cocoa powder
Add baking powder
Add baking soda
Add pinch of salt
Seive without lumps
Dry ingredients ready
Mix well
Add wet ingredients
Gently mix[Dont overmix]
Add 1/2 cup milk to adjust the consistency [You can add coconut milk]
Batter ready
Pour into baking tin
Evenly spread
Now its ready
Place it in pre-heated pressure cooker, cover lid, cook for 35 min on low flame
After 35 min, stick comes out clean, Now its ready, remove it from pressure cooker
Let ti cool for 5 min
De-mold
