Badam chocolate kheer | Almond chocolate payasam-How to make-step by step photos

Ingredients
- Almond - 1/2 cup
- Milk – 2 cups [500 ml]
- Sugar – 1/4 cup
- Cashewnut & raisins - 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
- Saffron – ½ tsp
- Cocoa powder – 2 tsp
Preparation
- Wash & Soak almond in hot water for 30 min. Then drain water completely.
- Peel off the skin
- In a mixer jar add soaked almond coarsely grind with 100 ml milk / water.
- Heat milk in a pan & let it boil, add ground almond mixture cook till soft.[Apr 8 min]
- Add saffron, sugar mix well let it boil for 5 min
- Add cardamom powder mix well then cut off heat.
- Add cocoa powder cook for 2 min
- Add cashewnut & raisins then serve hot or chilled.
Note
- You can add Jaggery instead of sugar
- You can add coconut milk instead of milk.
How to make Badam chocolate kheer-Step by step photos
Add hot water soaked almond in a mixer jar
Coarsely grind
Add milk, finely grind
Finely ground almond mixture ready
Boil milk
Boil it for 5 min
Add almond mixture
Add sugar
Boil it for 5 min
Add saffron
Add cardamom powder
Mix well, let it boil for 2 min
Now its ready, cut off heat
heat 1 tbsp ghee, add cashewnut, raisins, roast till light brown
Add roasted nuts and raisins
Add cocoa powder
Let it boil for 5 min
Delicous almond chocolate kheer ready, serve hot or cold
