How to make Chilli bajji pakoda & masala tea video
Ingredients
- Bajji milagai - 3
- Besan [gram flour, kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Rice flour – 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Garam masala -1 tsp
- Asafetida a pinch
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil – ¼ ltr [for frying]
Preparation Method
- Wash & slice chilli then remove seeds
- Add gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida, red chilli, garam masala & turmeric powder then add water mix well & make batter without lumps
- Add 1 tbsp of hot oil into gram flour batter for crispiness & fluffy
- Heat oil in a pan, dip chilli in the prepared batter, drop it in oil, deep fry till crisp & golden brown both sides on medium hot oil
- Once its ready remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper & serve hot with tea or coffee.

Mix well
Add water, mix well & make smooth batter
Batter ready
Add chilli rings, dip in gram flour batter
Drop it in hot oil, deep fry till crisp & golden brown
Now its ready, remove it from oil
