Ingredients

  • Almond - 1/2 cup
  • Milk – 2 cups [500 ml]
  • Sugar – 1/4 cup
  • Cashewnut & raisins - 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
  • Saffron – ½ tsp

Preparation

  • Wash & Soak almond in hot water for 30 min. Then drain water completely.
  • Peel off the skin
  • In a mixer jar add soaked almond coarsely grind with 100 ml milk / water.
  • Heat milk in a pan & let it boil, add ground almond mixture cook till soft.[Apr 8 min]
  • Add saffron, sugar mix well let it boil for 5 min
  • Add cardamom powder mix well then cut off heat.
  • Add cashewnut & raisins then serve hot or chilled.

Note

  • You can add Jaggery instead of sugar
  • You can add coconut milk instead of milk.
