Ingredients
- Raw Mango - 1 [ big]
- Jaggery powder[Vellam]–3/4 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
Preparation
- Wash & grate raw mango
- Heat pan add grated mango, jaggery, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt mix well
- Let it boil till one string consistency.
- Finally add cumin seeds mix well & cut off heat.
- Store in an airtight container use within 1 week
- Serve hot with roti, chapathi or puri

Grate raw mango
Grated mango ready
Heat pan add grated mango, turmeric powder
Add salt
Add red chilli powder
Add jaggery powder
Let it boil till one string consistency
Cook for 5 min
Stir well on medium flame
Now its ready
Roast cumin seeds
Let it cool
Coarsely grind
Add cumin powder
Jaggery reached One string consistency
Cut off heat, let it cool
Delicious mango chunda ready, serve hot with roti, or puri
