Corn Kernels Manchurian By Guna Selvi

Ingredients

  • Corn kernels - 1 cup [boiled or steamed]
  • Onion – 2 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Garlic - 4 cloves[finely chopped]
  • green chili – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Spring onion - 2 springs
  • Red chilli sauce - 2 tbsb
  • Tomato sauce - 2 tbsb
  • Soya sauce - 2 tbsb
  • Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Corn flour – ¼ cup
  • All purpose flour /wheat flour– 2 tbsp
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

Preparation

  • In a bowl add all purpose flour, corn flour, salt, pepper & water mix well make flowing consistency batter.
  • Add all corn kernels into the batter, mix well.
  • Then deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
  • Heat the oil in a pan, add onion, garlic and green chilli sauté well.
  • Add Red chilli sauce, Tomato sauce, & soya sauce mix well.
  • Add 3 tbsp corn flour mixture let it boil.
  • Add fried corn kernels, spring onion, sprinkle pepper powder and salt mix well.
  • Once its ready, cut off heat serve hot with any rice.
