Urulai kizhangu varuval

Ingredients

  • Potato -2 [big]
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 2 tbsp

Preparation

  • Wash and peal the skin, then chop into small thin squares.
  • Put chopped potatoes in a bowl then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt mix well.
  • Heat broad pan with 1 tbsp oil put chopped potatoes, spread it and cover the lid for 5 min.
  • Turn another side. Then again cook 3 min. Sprinkle water and cover lid for another 2 min.
  • Once potatoes turned soft and fully cooked serve hot with rice or chapati.
