Rice pakora with leftover rice | Arisi pakoda-How to make-Step by step photos & video

Ingredients
- Leftover rice [Boiled rice]– 1 cup
- Gram flour 2 tbsp
- Corn flour – 2 tbsp
- Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
- Garlic – 2 cloves [mashed]
- Green chilli – 1 [remove seeds, striped]
- Carrot – 1 [grated]
- Potato – 1 [cut into thin strips]
- Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Curry leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Water as needed [3 to 4 tbsp]
Preparation
- In a bowl add leftover rice &salt mix well
- Then add gram flour, corn flour, red chilli & turmeric powder mix well
- Add onion, green chilli, garlic, carrot, potato, curry leaves, coriander leaves & 4 tbsp of water mix well
- Heat oil in a pan, sprinkle rice mixture, deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
- Once its ready remove from oil & drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with curd rice, evening snack, tea or coffee
