Crispy vegetable pakoda & Masala tea-How to make-Stepby step photos

Ingredients
- Onion – 2 [big, Sliced]
- Gram flour – ½ cup
- Rice flour – ¼ cup
- Asafetida - ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
- Green chilli – 1 finely chopped
- Curry leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Ginger – 1 tbsp [mashed, chopped]
- Garlic – 3 cloves [mashed and chopped]
- Fennel seeds –1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Water as needed [Apr. 3 to 4 tbsp]
Ingredients for masala tea
- Fennel -1 tsp
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon - 1/2 stick
- Cloves - 2
- cardamom - 2
- Tea powder - 5 small tsp
- Water - 1 cup
- Milk - 1 and 1/4 cup
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
- Boil 1 glass milk, add 5 small tsp tea powder, add spices, add milk, sugar, boil for 1 min
- Then strain without lumps
Preparation
- Peel off onion, thinely slice.
- Add ginger, garlic, green chilli, curry leaves, salt, fennel seeds, asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder mix well
- Add gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida, green chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves and onion mix well.
- Sprinkle 4 tbsp of water and mix well. (Not like bajji consistency).
- Heat oil in a pan then sprinkle onion mixture & deep fry on medium flame till golden brown & crispy.
- Serve hot with curd rice, tea or coffee
Tips
- You can replace gram flour with all purpose flour[maida], atta [wheat flour] or corn flour.
- You can add any thinely sliced vegetables like potato, carrot, egg palnt, spring onion, capsicum, etc.
- You can replace fennel with cumin or carom seeds
- You can add garam masala

Crispy vegetable pakoda
Add carrot [Thinly sliced]
Add capsicum
Add onion
Add ginger, garlic, green chilli [You can avoid green chilli for kids]
Add coriander, curry leaves
Add asafoetida
Add salt
Add fennel
Add red chilli powder
Add turmeric powder
Mix well
Add gram flour
Add rice flour
Mix well
Add 4 tbsp water
mix well
Heat oil, sprinkle mixture
Fry on medium to high flame
Flip over fry
Fry both side till crisp and golden brown
Now its ready, remove it from oil
Drain on absorbent paper
Boil 1 glass milk, 5 small tsp tea powder, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, fennel, pepper, ginger
Boil
Add 1 and 1/4 glass milk
Add sugar
Boil for a min
Strain without lumps
