Ingredients

  • Homemade Paneer [cottage cheese] – 1 cup [cut into squares]
  • Potato [aloo] – 1 cup [boiled, cut into squares]
  • Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Tomato – 2 [finely chopped]
  • Ginger & garlic – 1 tbsp [grated]
  • Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder -1 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
  • Coriander & cumin powder – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper powder- ¼ tsp
  • Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

Method

  • Heat pan with oil, add cumin seeds. Then add onion, ginger and garlic sauté till soft.
  • Add green chilli, & tomato sauté till soft. Then add potato, turmeric & red chilli powder mix well.
  • Add paneer, cumin, coriander & pepper powder mix well. Add salt & garam masala sauté.
  • Add coriander leaves & cut off heat. Serve hot with rice or chapati.

Note

  • You can add chat masala, fenu greek powder, kasoor methi when seasoning. It will give extra aromatic flavor for sabzi.
